The 100 Hispanic Women of Westchester’s annual Latina Leadership Forum will feature Concordia College’s assistant director of admissions Nereida Quiles, who will give a presentation on the history of Latina leaders.
“It’s an overview focusing on the personal qualities of a leader, specifically a woman,” said Quiles, adding that she will also discuss “the passion and dedication that can serve as an inspiration to any woman.”
There are two other two speakers at the event, which coincides with Hispanic Heritage Month.
Lizandra Vega, author of Image of Success, will discuss making a great impression during job interviews, and Jeanette Vasquez-Walker will discuss healthy food choices.
The three-hour luncheon, business expo and networking event is on Oct. 1 at 11:30 a.m. in the Doubletree Hotel in Tarrytown and tickets cost $65 or $45 for students.
Tickets are available at the group’s website www.100hww.org
The group can also accommodate a few walk-in registrations.
