Concordia College graduated a record 33 nurses from its accelerated degree nursing program during commencement Dec. 9.
The ceremony included a traditional candle-lighting ceremony.
The program was created in 2008 and was designed for people who hold a college degree in another discipline who want to pursue a nursing career. Students complete a 61-credit nursing course that takes about 15 months.
