The Eastchester Irish-American Social Club is hosting Eastchester’s 8th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 11, beginning at 3 p.m. It will follow Route 22.
The 2012 Grand Marshal is Phil Denning and our 2012 Honoree is Anna Ascione Phelan.
Phil Denning has chosen his three sons Michael, PJ & Neal, as his aides.
An Eastchester resident since 1977, Phil hails from County Cavan, Ireland. In 2005, Phil served as an aide to the grand marshal of Eastchester’s first St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
Anna Ascione Phelan was born in Naples, Italy, and emigrated to the U.S. in 1969. She has lived in Eastchester with her husband John and three daughters – Katie, Brigid & Maura, for the past 15 years and currently serves as the Irish-American Social Club’s membership secretary.
