Just got this in from the Scarsdale Library:
Children will see that friends can be made even under the most wild of circumstances when the Scarsdale Public Library shows the film, “Open Season” on March 24.
The animated feature is about Boog, a domesticated 900-lb. grizzly bear, who finds himself stranded in the woods three days before Open Season. Forced to rely on Elliot, a fast-talking mule deer, the two form an unlikely friendship and must quickly rally other forest animals if they are to form a rag-tag army against the hunters.
The Scarsdale Public Library will be holding two showings of the movie, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The 11 a.m. showing is geared toward special needs kids and their families.
Open Season is rated PG and is 83 minutes long.
