Executive Coach Dinah Day returns to the Bronxville Career Network at 7:30 p.m. April 18 to discuss wellness, self-image, and how to think on your feet (and other image-related topics).
Meetings are held the third Wednesday each month in the Edwards Room of Bronxville Reformed Church, 180 Pondfield Rd. All are welcome to attend, meetings are free. Arrive at 7:15 p.m. for new member check-in and networking.
Day has been an actress, teacher, sportscaster, opera singer and triathelete. As founder of The Image Circle, she works as an executive image and career transition coach. She’ll continue a discussion from the January meeting on aspects of successful communication and presentation skills:
- Demeanor, appropriate and successful body language
- Energy and etiquette
- Team-work(learning about personality differences and how to get along with your opposite
- Appearance for CEO or Entry Level positions: self and professional image and how important it is to be mindful of how we present ourselves
- language and voice projection
- Success and those perceptions for leadership and giving back
The Image Circle, Inc. is a communications training organization whose mission is to teach people how to communicate with confidence and to believe in their untapped potential. That under-the-surface talent is brought out thru the use of a video camera where clients observe the many ways people all come across. She has more than 25 years experience as an executive coach serving more than 1,500 clients and corporate organizations and is dedicated to coaching and training employees to learn the skills and abilities to know the right things to do and say, when under pressure.
BCN is a volunteer-operated organization sponsored by the Reformed Church of Bronxville with a mission to support members in taking their careers to the next level, whether they are in career transition, entrepreneurship or growing a current business.
Members are encouraged to articulate their goals/needs as well as share resources and ideas. Members develop their skills through guest presentations, small group discussions and informal networking.
