Maria Devlin, a 2007 graduate of Bronxville High School, has received the Jens Aubrey Westengard Award for summer study in Europe from the Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Devlin, a Ph.D. candidate in English at Harvard, will use her award to return to the Shakespeare Institute in Stratford-upon-Avon, England, where she will continue the program in Shakespeare and theater she began there last summer.
Devlin graduated summa cum laude in 2011 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with double majors in mathematics and English with a minor in creative writing.
