The American Red Cross is holding a summer safety presentation at 4 p.m. on June 15 at the Tuckahoe Public Library at 71 Columbus Avenue. The one-hour workshop will include information about keeping preschool and grade school children safe around the water this summer.
A water safety instructor from the Red Cross will be on hand for the interactive presentation on topics such as swimming with a buddy and avoiding overexposure to the sun. Kids will receive a free activity booklet.
