After raising more than $45,000 last year, the Friends of the Scarsdale Library will hold its annual book sale from Sept. 7-16.
Shoppers can browse through 60,000 almost-new and out-of-print novels, including bestsellers and classics. A large selection of children’s books and DVDs will also be available for purchase. New books will be added daily.
The sale is scheduled to begin with a preview showing for the library’s “friends” on Friday, Sept. 7 from 7-9 p.m. Those interested in joining the group can become members that evening by paying $25 at the door.
A full schedule of the sale is available on the library’s website. All proceeds will support library programs and projects.
The library is located on the corner of Olmsted Road and Post Road. For more information, please contact Kathy Steves at Steves10583@gmail.com.
