The Town of Eastchester will celebrate Columbus Day weekend with a carnival at Lake Isle Country Club featuring a parade, rides, games, local food, vendors from local restaurants, live entertainment and fireworks.
The carnival will open at 6 p.m. on Oct. 5 and Double Image DJs will provide entertainment. On Saturday the 6th, the carnival opens at 1 p.m. and $25 unlimited ride wristbands will be offered from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be a homemade wine contest at 7 p.m., judged by Guardia de Lombardi Club. A homemade meatball contest also begins at 7.
On Sunday, the carnival opens at 1 p.m. with wristbands available from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. A parade will begin at 3:30 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church parking lot and head north to the carnival. There will be live entertainment from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. from Le Grand Entertainment.
On Columbus Day, the carnival opens at 1 p.m. and closes at 6 p.m.
Admission to the carnival is free and parking at the Vernon Hills Shopping Center will be free.
