Concordia College in Bronxville has moved up to No. 29 from No. 42 in US News & World Report’s 2013 ranking of regional colleges in the north. Cooper Union in New York was No. 1.
Concordia, with 825 students, had an acceptance rate of 69.5 percent in fall 2011, a freshman retention rate of 70 percent and a six-year graduation rate of 44 percent.
Concordia, which has students from 35 countries, also was ranked No. 5 in ethnic diversity.
