Friends of the Tuckahoe Library will host a book sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 14.
New books will be $5, old hard covers will be $2, children’s books will be $1 and paperbacks will go for 50 cents. DVDs will be $2 each.
Shoppers can receive receipts to claim the donation on their taxes.
The sale will take place at the Community Center at 71 Columbus Ave.
Donations for the book sale are welcome at the Community Center from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 9 and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 10.
