Bronxville Mayor Mary C. Marvin is reporting that 90 percent of homes in the village are still without power. All downed wires have been cleared, however, and the Bronxville School opened this morning. The library remains closed because of the power outage.
Con Edison has informed Marvin that all three of the feeders that power the village are in working order. There is still significant damage to wires and poles. The worst-hit areas are parts of Masterton, Sunny Brae and Valley.
She is urging residents to call in their outages to Con Edison at 1-800-75ConEd.
