The Village of Tuckahoe is planning to waive building fees for residents who have storm repairs not covered by insurance, Tuckahoe Mayor Steven A. Ecklond said. “We all agree that as a community we all need to help in any way we can, and this is one area where we can do our part” he said.

The village hasn’t yet seen an increase in permits for repairs, but expects demand to increase once insurance adjusters settle claims.
