The Eastchester Women’s Club has awarded the town’s recreation department with $5,000 to improve the Joyce Road playground. The money will pay for transporting playground equipment from the former Eastchester Child Development Center location to the Joyce Road playground.

Does the playground really need any more equipment? There is too much there already for a tiny little park amongst several houses.
