Tony Wagner, author of “Creating Innovators: The Making of Young People Who Will Change The World,” will speak at Scarsdale High School at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5.

Wagner, a Harvard-based national expert on preparing students for a globally linked world, is also the author of the bestselling book, “The Global Achievement Gap: Why Even Our Best Schools Don’t Teach the New Survival Skills Our Children Need—and What We Can do About It.” A 12-year veteran high school teacher, principal and Harvard professor, Wagner is the first Innovation Education Fellow at the Technology & Entrepreneurship Center at Harvard.

His Scarsdale talk is free and open to all members of the community, but registration is required online.
