The Scarsdale Public Library has contributed to an effort to bring books to children and adults who saw their homes destroyed or rendered unlivable by Hurricane Sandy. Partnering with Literacy in Motion, Scarsdale Public Library has provided 134 boxes of donated books for pop-up libraries in the emergency shelters and food pantries serving the victims of Sandy.
