More than $1,400 in gift certificates and 425 toys were gathered for children served by the Westchester Jewish Community Services at a luncheon hosted by Scarsdale resident Linda Plattus. Plattus is a board member of the nonprofit group and has organized the luncheon for eight years as part of the Have-a-Heart for the Holidays Gift Drive. Local businesses contributed to the event, including Standing Room Only, Lange’s Deli, Martine’s Fine Bake Shoppe, Cherry Lawn and House of Flowers.
