“Ask Amy” advice columnist Amy Dickinson will speak at 7 p.m. Jan. 31 as part of Concordia College’s Books & Coffee series. The event will take place in Concordia’s Sommer Center for Worship and the Performing Arts. No reservations are required and the program is free. Dickinson took over from Ann Landers at the Chicago Tribune. Her column is carried in more than 150 newspapers. She is also the author of “The Mighty Queens of Freeville: A Story of Surprising Second Chances,” the story of her life as a single parent and a member of an extended family in upstate New York.
