Ann Meyer, a former AP biology and environmental science teacher in Bronxville, is returning to the district to become the new principal of the High School starting July 1. Meyer will replace Terry Barton, who plans to retire at the end of the school year after leading Bronxville High School since 2006. Meyer is completing her first year as assistant principal at Edgement Junior/Senior High. She was a member of Bronxville’s science department from 2006 to 2012. Meyer was chosen from a field of 86 candidates that included several serving principals. The Board of Education approved her appointment and annual salary of $170,000 at its April meeting. Meyer has a bachelor’s degree in biological chemistry from Wellesley College and master’s degrees from Harvard University and Bank Street College of Education.
